What's that in the tall grass~?

Hello, Nail Friends!

It's dangerous out there without a pokémon! Wild oddish are in the grass! But can you tell which is a pokémon and which is just a plant?

Hint: one of these are pokémon! (the one you can barely see!)
Take it away, Dex!

"Oddish. The "weed" pokémonDuring the day, it keeps its face buried in the ground. At night, it wanders around sowing its seeds." (Source: http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/oddish)

Thanks.

That's RIGHT! It's week one of the Pokémon nail challenge! Hosted by yours truly and Sharra from The Blahg, this challenge is a pokémon a week from each of the different types. This week is Grass-type pokémon and I chose Oddish! (He was a very popular little guy this week, scoring 1st place in number of nails he adorned!)

And he's SO happy to see you!
For this mani I used:
a teeny paintbrush
China Glaze Liquid Leather
Cult Nails Manipulative
Sinful Colors Snow Me White
China Glaze Salsa
Zoya Shawn
Sinful Colors Innocence
Zoya Skylar
China Glaze Aqua Baby!

So, Floam...

....looks amazing over Hell On Heels. I think I'll going to wear this all week!

I know I keep talking about HoH,, but I purchased it and was not asked to praise it all over the place. I just really like it!

Like I said though, I am going to layer it next time. hard to get tip coverage and I'm at 7-8 layers right now. Too much polish!

Hell On Heels

I have for you today, the Blue/Purple matte glitter, Nails By Laura Hell On Heels! The glitters are slightly larger than the ones in Floam and I had the opacity you see here in 4 coats. Next tune I plan on layering it over blues and purples. Maybe even a completely random color!

Check it out!

Squirtle! Use Bubblebeam!

I told you I'd be back, Nail Friends!

This mani took a LOT longer than I thought it would (though I don't know why I thought it'd be fast. I take forever when I'm doing nail art!)

So Sarah from Chalkboard Nails is holding a blog contest like I mentioned in my giveaway post a few hours ago. The rules are, and I copy and paste quote:
  • Only one entry per person, please.
  • You must do these designs on your own nails.
  • Your design must use a dotting tool of some kind.
  • You can use the brush that comes with your polish to aid in your design.
  • Stamping is discouraged but not prohibited. I really want this to be about the dotting tool and its possibilities!
  • You may not use acrylic paint for your design.
  • You may not use nail art brushes for your design.
  • Your design does not have to be a new design.
  • You must submit your designs through the Inlinkz tool at the end of this post between now and Monday, March 5th.
  • This contest is open internationally, excluding Italy (Llarowe does not ship there).

Now, I got into nails because I could do art on them, so art-based contests make me super excited! I thought about what I wanted to do for a couple days and finally I decided that you can never go wrong with Pokémon! And here's how it went!
