I'm a day late for water type week here in the Pokémon nail challenge!

 But we're a laid back group of ladies (who you are welcome to still join!) and everyone's accepting of tardiness. Speaking of this group, there were some AMAZING pieces of nail art this week from all these talented people and you should check them out! Inlinkz links at the bottom!


So where should I start...hmmm. Well I was just wandering around aimlessly, wondering what pokémon I should choose this week when I was given a golden pokéball. Whatever could be IN IT! It must be the most amazing pokémon in the universe! So I cracked it open and what do I get?

It's dangerous out there without a pokémon! Wild oddish are in the grass! But can you tell which is a pokémon and which is just a plant?

Hint: one of these are pokémon! (the one you can barely see!)

That's RIGHT! It's week one of the Pokémon nail challenge! Hosted by yours truly and Sharra from The Blahg, this challenge is a pokémon a week from each of the different types. Hey there, Nail Friends!

So if you've poked around the blog a bit, you may notice a tab up top there that says "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" I have made it my goal to eventually have painted every one of the original 151 pokémon on my nails. 4 down. a LOT to go!

That's right. I love pokémon. I SAID IT! (haha like you didn't already know.) At any rate, I love pokémon and I love nails and you know what? I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE! Sharra from The Blahg and I came up with a super fun, super awesome way to show our need to be the very best!

Well hello there, Nail Friends!

Been awhile. I have since moved to Alaska (whaaaat?) and -gasp!- I have internet in my place of living! You should be seeing more of me now that I can blog from a computer instead of a phone! Finally! But that's not why you're here~


Have I got some awesome nails for an awesome comeback! Alaska (and the Manicured Mommas winter/christmas contest) inspired me to make these nails, representing all my winter wishes to see the northern lights.

I'm working on a tutorial post as you read this!

Wearable Purple And A LOOOOONG Post!

Hello there, Nail Friends!

I'm sitting down here in my Batcave (no, seriously, it's the best place EVER!)

No, SERIOUSLY! BATCAVE!

Anyway, I'm sitting down here in my Batcave, ready to tell you about the purple dot nails I did for Pretty Face Happy Bank's Wearable Week! Basically PFHB put a call out to nail bloggers to help her pair nails with wearable eye makeup designs because she tends to do, as she put it, "rainbow LSD" (rainbow LSD eye makeup is pretty sweet looking by the way!)

She called and I responded! And why wouldn't I choose purple? and DOTS! You know I love me some dots!

And for those of you thinking, "I can't wear purple...it's so vibrant and crazy! NO! You CAN wear purple. Purple is an equal opportunity lover and can be worn by everyone!
