As for TODAY! Shorter post. This week on the pokemon nail challenge:

BUGS!

now, while not my favorite pokemon type (really, Viridian Forest was my least favorite place) the bugs certainly have interesting designs! And I picked the better of the two cocoon pokémon, Kakuna!

Almost incapable of moving, this POKéMON can only harden its shell to protect itself from predators.

Used Manglaze Fuggen Ugly as a base!

Chg Happy Go Lucky, Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow,  Sinful Snow Me White and Chg Liquid Leather

Topped the ring and pinky with Poshe to be consistent! (I didn't feel like matting out the art! ^_^)

Hey there, Nail Friends!


I'm a day late for water type week here in the Pokémon nail challenge!

 But we're a laid back group of ladies (who you are welcome to still join!) and everyone's accepting of tardiness. Speaking of this group, there were some AMAZING pieces of nail art this week from all these talented people and you should check them out! Inlinkz links at the bottom!


So where should I start...hmmm. Well I was just wandering around aimlessly, wondering what pokémon I should choose this week when I was given a golden pokéball. Whatever could be IN IT! It must be the most amazing pokémon in the universe! So I cracked it open and what do I get?

Sassy Magmar

Hi there, Nail Friends!

I just couldn't come up with a silly title....so I had to go with descriptive. Because this pokémon is SASSY!

An anecdote:

I'm sitting on my computer trying to figure out which fire-type pokémon when my boyfriend says, "what about Magmar?" and then a pause. "You could do him doing duckface"

Bacon!lava!

magmar....is totally trying to seduce the camera. But doesn't realize he's surrounded by bacon!lava. And he has carpet fuzz on him. lol. FIRE TYPE WEEK! Mostly a success!

Aurora Nails Tutorial

Well hello there, Nail Friends!

Been awhile. I have since moved to Alaska (whaaaat?) and -gasp!- I have internet in my place of living! You should be seeing more of me now that I can blog from a computer instead of a phone! Finally! But that's not why you're here~


Have I got some awesome nails for an awesome comeback! Alaska (and the Manicured Mommas winter/christmas contest) inspired me to make these nails, representing all my winter wishes to see the northern lights.

I'm working on a tutorial post as you read this!

Hi there!

<p>So I've been horribly neglectful, haven't I? Thought I would give you another Trip To The Past quickie and let you all know i'm still here!

These were my first ever gradient nails! I was working off of Rebecca Likes Nails' zebra gradient tutorial, but I didn't have pink, so I used red, orange and yellow. Most likely China Glaze Salsa, Papaya Punch and Happy Go Lucky. Then with a Sally Hansen art pen I added stripes and a little dragon. Because...dragons.

I hope you forgive me for my absence and I hope to see you again!
